At 5:00 p.m. on May 26, our school grandly held the "Our Festival - Promoting Sanming Culture Dragon Boat Festival" classic poetry recitation competition in the Academic Lecture Hall.
In order to carry forward the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation, enrich students' extracurricular cultural life, and demonstrate our school's school-running philosophy of "responsible for duty, keeping clear and sensible", at 5 pm on May 26, our school grandly held "Our Festival" in the academic lecture hall. ——Promote the Sanming Culture Dragon Boat Festival” classic poetry recitation competition. Teachers and students gathered together to celebrate a meaningful Dragon Boat Festival.
Accompanied by the soft music, the recitation competition kicked off, which may be exciting, gentle, fast, or easy-going. The students fully appreciate the cultural connotation of the Dragon Boat Festival through the recitation of classic poems. Some of the students expressed their nostalgia for Qu Zi, and some sang the great motherland with passion. The recitation works such as "The Eternal Miluo River", "Ode to Oranges", "Reminiscence of the Dragon Boat Festival" and "The Sun and Moon Win Glory" conveyed the message. Admiration and nostalgia for Qu Yuan's patriotic spirit.
The recitation program "Ode to Oranges" selected by our school won the third prize in Jinxian's 2017 "Our Festival" Dragon Boat Festival Chinese Poetry Creation and Recitation Competition.

The school is located in the beautiful and quiet side of the rock river in the county. The predecessor was Yuping Vocational School founded by Lin Zhengliang, an underground member of the Communist Party of China, in 1941.
