Teaching and research department responsibilities
1. The Teaching and Research Section is a grass-roots organization directly responsible for teaching tasks, scientific research and teacher training under the leadership of the department (department). The establishment of the teaching and research section shall be proposed by the director of the department (department) and submitted to the president in charge for approval.
2. The teaching and research department shall do a good job in the organization and management of course teaching. Reasonable arrangement of teachers' teaching tasks; To formulate and review semester teaching plans; Check the lesson preparation; Keep abreast of classroom teaching; Organize teachers to attend lectures; Carry out teaching inspection; Feedback students' opinions on classroom teaching to teachers in a timely manner; Review test questions; Help to solve the problems of teaching equipment and means in the teaching process.
3. The teaching and research section carries out curriculum construction work. Formulating curriculum construction plan; Develop or revise course (including practical aspects) syllabus and other teaching documents; Preparation and selection of teaching materials; Prepare teaching AIDS, CAI software and audio-visual teaching materials such as slides and videos; Carry out the construction of examination paper bank and test question bank.
4, the professional teaching and research department should carry out professional construction work under the leadership of the department. Formulate and implement professional development plans under the leadership of the department; Optimize and revise the professional teaching plan; Conduct a feasibility study on the establishment of a new major (specialty direction).
5. The teaching and Research section shall actively carry out teaching and research activities. Through the organization of collective lesson preparation and special teaching research, analyze the key and difficult points of the teaching content, the main knowledge points and skills, clarify the teaching purpose, especially pay attention to the professional development and social needs, constantly update the teaching content and improve the teaching method; It is necessary to organize the exchange of teaching experience within the teaching and research department, carry out the activities of observation teaching, and strive to improve the overall teaching level of the teaching and research department.
6, the teaching and research department should do a good job in the construction of teachers. Assist the department (department) director in formulating the planning for the construction of the faculty; Develop an annual teacher training plan to strengthen the training of teachers, and select tutors for new teachers to help them master and improve their work; Organize the trial teaching work of prospective teachers, and analyze and appraise their teaching ability.
7. The teaching and research Department should strengthen its internal management. To draw up the teaching work plan for each semester; There should be an examination in the mid-term and a summary of the work at the end of the term; Do a good job of fire prevention and theft prevention in the teaching and research office.
8, the teaching and research department has 1 director, and the number of teachers can be set up 1 deputy director. The director and deputy director of the Teaching and Research section shall be nominated by the department head and approved by the president in charge. The term of office shall be synchronized with that of the department (department) director. The director of the department (department) shall appoint teachers with higher teaching level and rich teaching experience, decent style of work, strong sense of responsibility and organizational ability (generally should have intermediate title or above) as the principal and deputy director of the teaching and research department.
9. The director of the Teaching and Research Section is the organizer and leader of the work of the teaching and research section. The director of the teaching and research section shall be responsible for assigning work according to the work plan of the teaching and research section, and conducting inspection and supervision. Responsible for the examination and approval of the teaching documents (such as syllabuses, semester teaching plans) prepared by the teaching and research office; Responsible for approving and selecting teaching materials.
10. The director of the Teaching and Research Section has the responsibility and power to sign opinions on the appointment or supplementary assessment, regularization, grading, promotion and award of the staff of the teaching and research Section. The department (department) and relevant departments shall regard the opinions of the teaching and Research section as important reference opinions.
